Rhode Island's 15th Annual Statewide Self-Advocacy Conference
“Names Hurt, Too” was Rhode Island's 15th annual Statewide Self-Advocacy Conference and it was all about respect. We did NOT just talking about changing the negative words that people use to label others. On Thursday, October 28th, more than 514 Rhode Islanders gathered to talk, share and learn about changing attitudes, and how to put those ideas into action! The combination of some amazing volunteers, super generous co-sponsors, dedicated board members and staff, excellent presenters and faithful attendees helped make "Names Hurt, Too" a sell-out success! THANK YOU!
